Origin
The producer of the outstanding Dictador Rum from the Iconic Art Spirits category, Hernan Parra, gives away his best casks from selected vintages, creating this unique product. The rum is aged according to exclusive family recipes dating back three generations. The foundation for this project is rum, which has gained more than 50 awards during the most important spirit fairs of the world, including the United States, France and Germany. His Dictador Lalique has recently (February 26th 2021) gained the title of the most expensive bottle of rum ever sold, achieving the sum of £33 000 at a Sotheby’s auction in London.
Tasting notes
- Nose: subtle and elegant, multi-layered with the aroma of dark chocolate, honey and sweet spices.
- Palate: very dry, but surprisingly fresh at the same time, with a chocolate finish lasting for a good few minutes, a true rarity.
